here are so many ways to figure out outfits for your boudoir experience that it can be so overwhelming! Conveniently for you, I LOVE talking about outfits and helping you pick things to wear that would fit your personality and make you feel your best! I wanted to share with you a list of items that you could use as outfit ideas, here are some easy pieces to choose from!
Bra and Panty
A bra and panty set is a great simple outfit that you usually already have in your drawer! This makes a great outfit and you can really show off your personality through the colors and patterns that you choose! You can also pair a bra and panty set with pretty much anything; a skirt, heels, a big sweater even! If you are a simple girl who doesn’t wear a ton of lingerie, this could be just what you’re looking for!
P.S. Make sure that you’re wearing a bra that fits right, it can not only change your world, but also your photos!
Bodysuit/Teddy
These are my absolute FAV. This is basically an outfit in one, and also looks amazing on everyone! You can get them with sleeves or no sleeves, all sorts of colors, and even in fun fabrics! This is also a great option for those of you who are learning to love their mid-region and still want to feel confident because it gives you great coverage while still hugging your curves!
T’s tip: One piece bathing suits work too! Most of the time you can’t tell that they are bathing suits, and there is a ton of variety to choose from!
Corsets
Corsets are also an item that looks great on everyone. They are classy, elegant, and so glamorous. You can pair it with a skirt, or thigh highs and heels! Getting a corset that is the right size takes some thought though. Make sure you have someone measure you, so that it looks it’s best!
You will definitely need help getting all the way in your corset. By now, I’ve laced up some pretty intricate corsets backs and don’t mind helping out!
Skirts or Shorts
These can be anything from tutus to high-waisted shorts for pin up shoots! Don’t be afraid to think of outfits that you love, and turn them into something a little sexier by using a bra as a top! For skirts, anything from tulle tutus to flowy boho skirts, it really just depends on your style! If vintage petticoats are your thing, pair a bralette or braless. For shorts, you can use high waisted ones for a pin up look, or some torn up low-rise shorts with a white tank top for a daisy duke look!
Dresses & Robes
This is the same as what I said above, this could be something that you would actually wear out, but with the sleeves slid down your shoulder it is a glamorous robe! This could also be that super slinky dress that you bought because you love how it makes you feel, but you don’t really have an occasion to wear it to ;). Amazon is actually a great place to find flowy dresses nowadays, for cheap too!
Nude
This is so intimidating to read, but if you’re really feeling up to it for your shoot, these might be your favorite shots! I love nude shots in white sheets, it looks so natural and relaxed, and it can be a really fun way to end your shoot! This is not for everyone, but don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone! When you use a blanket or sheets, it might make you feel a bit less anxious while still letting you step outside you break some boundaries.
Shades of grey fetish/bondage
This is not for all and can be modified to a softer style. Some Pearls tying up your wrists or a man’s tie over the eyes or hips. I do have a dungeon with ropes, chains and cage like bars. Really fun for handcuffs, black leather ANYTHING and whips or lace eye coverings.
